High Density
Normal profiled aluminium slats have 90 Kg/m³ of POLYURETHANE foam inside, high density slats contain double the amount of POLYURETHANE foam 180 Kg/m³.
This means that the shutter is much more rigid, so we can order widths greater than 200 centimetres, at the same time, the thermal and acoustic transmittance is much lower towards the inside of the house.
How to Measure
Everything will depend on the width of our old guide rail to know whether we need guide rails or not, and on that we will measure one way or the other.
Reduction slides are needed when our old slide has a gap of more than 1.6 cm.
If it measures more than 1.6 cm and we need reduction guides:
If your tracks are longer than 1.6 cm you will need to install reduction tracks and therefore you will need the shutter and the V-25 tracks.
The Width is taken by inserting the metre into the bottom of one of the guides, up to the outer edge of the opposite side. This is the measurement to be provided with your order.
The High will be the size of your window or door with an increment of 25 cms, This increase is necessary in order to be able to attach the blind to the upper shaft. This will be the measurement you will need to provide when ordering.
Reduction guides are needed when the old roller shutter has a gap of 1.6cm or more in the guide and when the sides do not have a mat.
The reduction guides shall be recessed into the recess on each side and glued with silicone, any other adhesive or with the system Grapers.
If it measures - 1.6 cm and does not need reducer guides:
If your tracks are less than 1.6 cms you do not need to install reduction tracks and therefore only need the roller shutter.
We will take the width as in the image below (from the bottom to the bottom of the shutter channel) we will deduct 1 centimetre from this measurement so that the shutter has clearance and does not rub when it is operated.
The High will be the size of your window or door with an increment of 25 cms, This increase is necessary in order to be able to attach the blind to the upper shaft. This will be the measurement you will need to provide when ordering.
How to install this blind step by step
Drive
We can comfortably raise and lower our roller shutter with three types of drive:
Via tape 20 mm. designed to support the weight of our blinds. This is the most commonly used way of operating this type of roller shutter.
By means of a lathe with a steel cable and operating a crank handle for raising and lowering the shutter. Widely used in hospitals and social centres for its comfort.
Via engine, either with pushbutton or with remote control.
Lateral anti-slip
The slat stitching system avoids snagging or breakage of the slats in our blinds.

Safety clamps
