Black-Out fabric
The Black-Out fabric will give you the intimacy you are looking for. When combined with the matting guides contained in our insect screen, 100% opacity is achieved. We are SGS certified and meet the requirements of NFPA 701.2010 which sets out test methods for evaluating the flame spread of different textiles and films under certain fire test conditions.
Use of this type of mosquito net
Thanks to our system, you can maintain the right temperature in your room or control the amount of sunlight you want to flood your environment.
This system is designed to fit windows and doors of various sizes as long as it does not exceed the maximum dimensions of 200 cm in height and 160 cm in width. It is very easy to fit between the shutter guides and the windows or directly on the wall.
Drive
This mosquito net has a system of handles or cords that makes it easy and comfortable to adjust the height of the mosquito net as you wish. For added security, a pair of brackets or latches have been designed on the underside of each guide to hold the mosquito net securely in place when it is closed.
It also includes four multi-filament mats distributed along each edge of the frame to provide a total seal to prevent unwanted vermin or rodents from sneaking in.
Where to install the mosquito net
There are two ways to install our roller mosquito nets:
1 - Between the window and the shutter.
This space is the best option as it protects our mosquito net as much as possible, but we need a minimum gap of 3.3 cm for a maximum height of 140 cm and 4.2 cm for a height between 141 cm and 240 cm (self-tapping screws for aluminium included).
2 - On the outside of the roller shutter guide.
Directly installed to the sides of the wall with plugs and screws (included in the mosquito screen), it is recommended to seal it with silicone once installed.
If ordered with RDS the head shall always be 4.2 cm.
For widths over 140 cm, a 4.2 cm head will be sent.
How to measure
We will measure several points for both width and height and we will keep the smallest one, which we will use to order our mosquito net on the web.
When ordering, the total height you indicate will be the sum of the guides and the head, so that once the mosquito screen is installed, it will give you the total height you indicated in the order.
Resistance
Every mosquito net made by us has the strength required for daily use without any damage due to mesh breakage or discolouration from continuous use. In addition, we always use top-quality materials and QUALICOAT-approved paints in an infinite variety of shades.
Cleaning and maintenance
Practicality and simplicity are the main characteristics of our insect screens: keeping them in perfect condition is therefore very easy. Just use a cloth and some soap diluted in water to clean the frame and screen of the mosquito net. You can also include neutral cleaners, if you wish.
