How does it work?
The Sunox treatment is based on the photocatysis process, which uses the light naturally present in the environment to activate an all-natural antibacterial action.
How do I activate it?
Photocatalysis is a process that is activated by the action of light and air. The Sunox network, in the presence of these two elements, triggers a strong purification process that leads to the decomposition and transformation of bacteria, viruses and fungi into harmless substances.
How long do these properties last?
The Sunox treatment is carried out during the working phase of the netting in Fiberglass. This treatment is of a permanent nature.
How do I recognise the Sunox network?
The netting treated with Sunox technology is made up of a grey wire and a black wire. The black wire, in the weaving phase, generates an easily identifiable anthracite grey colour.
How to measure
(Installation in the shaft with side or front mounting)
To measure your insect screen correctly, we will measure the width and height at several points and select the smallest measurement.
NoteIf the installation is a front installation on a "Velux type" roof window and you want the entire opening to be free when opening the sash, you have to increase the width by 10cm and the height by 8cm over the opening dimension.
When ordering, the total height you indicate will be the sum of the guides and the head, so that once the mosquito screen is installed, it will give you the total height you indicated in the order.
Resistance
The fabric is made in grey and consists of 63% PVC and 37% glass fibre. This mixture provides greater durability and resistance in accordance with the requirements of REACH (Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).
The solidity of the materials used in the manufacture allows you to operate its mechanism as often as you need without breaking or spoiling its colour. We use the best quality aluminium and QUALICOAT seal paints in various colours and shades to suit your preference.
Cleaning and maintenance
Keep your screen clean without overspending on specialised detergents. Use soapy water and rub it gently with a cloth to remove accumulated dirt. If you wish, you can include a neutral cleaner in the cleaning process.
